Press Release Body = Australia, August 31, 2006 - Australia\'s Department of
Immigration and Multicultural Affairs has released figures indicating that foreign
workers are arriving in the country at a rate of 158 per day.

Statistics have also been published showing the figures for foreign migrants
entering Australia\'s individual states between January and April: New South Wales -
23,000; Victoria - 12,000; Queensland - 8,100 and Western Australia - 7,700.

The opportunities for work in the country are mainly what attract thousands of
migrants to Australia every year. And the above mentioned figures show no sign of
slowing down in the near future.

Australia’s economy is thriving with over 150,000 jobs being advertised each week
and unemployment at its lowest level in 10 years. Skilled professionals, trades
persons and students who graduated from any australian university may easily qualify
for a skilled visa.

The skilled visa program of National Visas is specifically designed to target
migrants who have skills or outstanding abilities that will contribute to the
Australian economy. The service also includes access to advice and assistance from a
registered migration agent for a 60-day period.
