Press Release Body = The Georgia EZ Golf Tour a Tour for the public amateur golfer will be in full swing with the first tournament of the 2007 season schedule to take place on March 24th at the Canongate GC in Sharpsburg Ga.
The Georgia EZ Golf Tour is part of a nation wide tour network designed to give amateur golfers the opportunity to participate in tournament golf on a local public golf courses. Georgia EZ Golf Tour Director Joel Ballard is excited about the new tour.\"This is the first golf tour that caters to the amateur weekend golfer who scores in the 90\'s 80\'s or 70\'s. Where a handicapis not required tournaments are 2 person best ball formats played on Saturdays and it\'s very affordable to become a Tour Member. On top of that a lot of players can win great prizes many different ways\" Ballard said.
ournaments are open to all men,women and junors who normally score 100 or less for 18 holes. Players receive Gift Caed Merchandise payouts and the top 30 percent or more of finishers share in the prize pools for each eveny. A season long EZ Golf Tour Points contest and a Tour Championship Tournament gives bragging rights to Tour players. Tournamnets are limited to the first 50 teams that sign up.
