its presence in the UK lifting and handling industry as a partnership with leading
global manufacturer Verlinde goes from strength to strength.

Press Release Body: The partnership signed nearly two years ago – making Lifting
Solutions an approved UK distributor for Verlinde - has dramatically improved sales
figures for both Lifting Solutions and Verlinde, with a 100% year on year joint
trade increase so far for the partnership.

A recent 2007 performance review showed that trade had doubled for Lifting Solutions
in this generating healthy business and annual profits for both partners.

Much of the rise in profits has been attributed to the Verlinde deal which saw
Lifting Solutions able to offer a full crane service – from design to manufacture
and installation, right through to training, maintenance and repairs. Verlinde,
which has been established for 150 years, has a worldwide presence and distribution
network covering all continents but Lifting Solutions is one of only a handful of UK
distributors able to offer the full Verlinde range.

The engineering companies are managing jointly to win business in the face of stiff
competition from eastern Europe and the Far East.

Jonathan Moorhouse, Lifting Solutions’ managing director, said: “The partnership
