Press Release Body: Multi-award winning micro-brewery Wentworth Brewery has
announced that one of its seasonal beers for 2008 has sold out in seven days due to
unprecedented demand.
The launch of Brimstone, a golden pale ale, was so popular that Wentworth Brewery
found its supply had run dry in less than a week.

Brimstone was in demand from customers both locally and as far as Newcastle and
Chris Tinker of Wentworth Brewery said: “Brimstone has clearly won over ale lovers
hearts - we have never had a beer sell out so quickly. We are hoping to get the
popular ale back on the market as soon as possible. We simply can’t produce it quick
enough which is a nice problem to have!“

Two other seasonally prepared Wentworth real ales have also been launched this
month, including: Premium, a 4.4% dark red coloured bitter and Challenge which is a
4.3% hoppy bronze bitter.

Wentworth Brewery has also developed a brand new ale for release in March -
Chequered Skipper – which is made from a chocolate and coffee malt, giving it a
distinctive after taste. The warm, dark ale will be recognisable by a unique
butterfly label, which the beer is named after.
