A former CIO of a Fortune 50 subsidiary, Mr. Avellanet was accountable for
information management and litigation discovery compliance prior to founding his
current consulting firm, Cerulean Associates LLC. He is one of the few executives
who have ever built an ISO-15489 compliant records department from scratch, and has
been interviewed on records management compliance topics on the radio program My
Technology Lawyer and in the international journal, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
Mr. Avellanet publishes the monthly executive newsletter SMARTERCOMPLIANCE™, and is
the compliance columnist for the international Journal of Commercial Biotechnology.
