Investors Lingered over an Hour after the Mega Evening Event Meeting in Metro Detroit, Michigan

Released on: July 23, 2008, 10:26 pm

Press Release Author: Mark Maupin

Industry: Real Estate

Press Release Summary: REIA of Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Macomb off to a successful new beginning with a new format and location

Press Release Body: Out of all the REIA groups in Southeast Michigan, Investors and business owners are saying the National Real Estate Network\'s Mega Evening Event meetings provide the most value. Investors were on the edge of their seats, rapidly taking notes, as the speakers on the panel answered legal and accounting questions. Attorney, Richard White; and CPA, Markwei Boye made up the panel of experts answering the questions. The turnout was good, considering this was the first meeting to be held in the new location at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Romulus. Meetings will continue being at this location the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Ralph Mark Maupin, founder of the real estate investing club said \"What a meeting, at the end of presentation I went into the hall to say good night to guest as they left, to my surprise they did not leave. One hour later the hotel manager advised everyone they needed to leave. The attendees loved the speakers and the networking was off the hook. It was a great feeling seeing people get value to the point not wanting to leave when it was over.\"

At each meeting many people come for the networking with all the other vendors, regardless of who is speaking. \"The speakers are great! But I also meet a lot of other business contacts during the networking hour before the speaker talks,\" said Art Daniels, a member of NREN.

The June meeting was host to a dozen vendors, including Bank of America with a new incentive program to open an account; Mary Griffin, national Credit Educator with information on how to handle credit issues; Jeff Taylor, your College Funding Coach and Mark Lang, Provost of the Entrepreneurial Department of Wayne Community College, was present to answer questions on small business loans, and programs designed to help investors and small businesses, just to name a few.

The next meeting will be at the Crown Plaza Hotel; 8000 Merriman Rd; Romulus, MI 48174, from 6pm to 9pm on August 21, 2008. The topic of this meeting will be How to Hire a Contractor, plus 3 of the most successful real estate investors in the Detroit Metro market will discuss how they are making money in today\'s real estate market.
