M8 Magazine is 20 Years Old

Released on: October 15, 2008, 3:03 am

Press Release Author: Triple One Digital

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: M8 Magazine, the UK's leading dance music and clubbing
culture magazine is 20 years old. So, happy birthday to us!

Press Release Body: Yes, we've reached the magical 20 years old, which is a great
testament to the strength of the magazine and the people behind it. M8, launched 20
years ago by its Publisher David Faulds, has shown a commitment to dance music that
is envied by all our competitors. Its strength has been its continuity, still owned
by the same company who launched the magazine in 1988. None of our competitors can
claim that astonishing fact! M8 has never had to change direction, succumb to new
owner's ideas or bow to corporate pressure. We have and always will be a dance music
magazine, covering all the best DJs, producers, tunes and club nights. And that's
why we lead from the front.

Featured in the October '08 Issue:

The timing for us couldn't have been better, everyone wants to know about Eddie's
controversial departure from BBC Radio 1, and we have the inside story on all of it.
Eddie talks exclusively to M8, the magazine that gave him his first ever dance music
magazine cover. Inside, we've upped the ante on the club coverage, giving you all
the best nights from Ibiza and the UK, including Judgement Sundays at Eden, Defected
at Pacha, Hed Kandi at El Divino, Creamfields, Garlands, Sankeys, Karbon, Byblos and
many more.
