DirectRooms.com is pleased to announce the upcoming Brighton Marathon. Taking place on Sunday 10th April 2011, this annual event will provide runners with magnificent seaside views as they participate in the 26.2 miles race.

The reason behind the run is to raise both money and awareness for education and conservation, for the Zoology Society of London (ZSL). By participating in the event with ZSL, runners will receive a handful of benefits, such as a kit bag, t-shirt and medal when they complete the race.

The Brighton Marathon is the way for caring people to take part in a local cause, to help with the conservation of animals. The money raised for this charity helps protect animals and their habitat.

The Zoology Society of London is an organization that addresses many challenges, by managing conservation programs that take place in 80 countries worldwide. They also carry out science groundwork, and offer educational programs that reach more than 100,000 children each year.

Each person who receives one of the 11 exclusive places in the Brighton Marathon is asked to raise a minimum of £500, and pay a registration fee of £40 per place. There are many rewards for those who are able to raise large sums of money for the charity.
