The London Coliseum hosts the finale of a nationwide tour by the English National Ballet

Ballroom dancing meets ballet in Strictly Gershwin, a song and dance extravaganza which celebrates the timeless tunes of brothers George and Ira Gershwin. The show, performed by the English National Ballet, returns to London following a sell-out run at the Royal Albert Hall in June 2011. Visitors who want to see all the razzmatazz of the show, which appears at the London Coliseum from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 15th January 2012, can stay the night in London by choosing one of the London hotels listed on LondonTown.com, the London specialist website.

Choreographed and directed by Derek Deane, Strictly Gershwin was first staged back in 2008 but this time the show is being rolled out at theatres nationwide on a tour which begins and ends in London . Gershwins' classic hits set the stage for a glamorous night out with the English National Ballet joined by singers, tap dancers and even roller-bladers. Highlights include a duet danced to Summertime, a rousing rumba to It Ain't Necessarily So and a wonderfully romantic pas de deux to The Man I Love.

Stuttgart Ballet's Friedemann Vogel, Guillaume Cote from the National Ballet of Canada, acclaimed tap dancers Douglas Mills and Paul Robinson, and a 50-piece jazz orchestra all take to the stage at the London Coliseum for this feel-good show which revels in the big band glamour of the 1930s.

Roberta Guidi di Bagno can claim credit for the fabulously glittering costumes and the set which features images of the Gershwins and stars of their Broadway and Hollywood hits including Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Gene Kelly.

Those who want to book tickets to see Strictly Gershwin at the London Coliseum can do so by visiting LondonTown.com where reviews of nearby London restaurants, local nightlife and transport links will provide everything you need to arrange a memorable night out in London.
