Manchester is the first stop on the 2012 X Factor Live Tour, with three performances due to take place in the city.

The winning group Little Mix will be singing live on stage at the MEN Arena, along with finalists such as Amelia Lily, Janet Devlin, Marcus Collins, Craig Colton and local star Misha B.

Although tickets for the first two shows on Saturday February 25th have already sold out, fans still have a chance to attend the third performance at 14:30 GMT on Sunday February 26th. Tickets are priced at £32.50 plus booking fees.

The 2011 series of The X Factor will be remembered as one of the most dramatic in the history of the contest, with Little Mix defeating Marcus to become the first group to win the show.

There were plenty of tears, tantrums and stunning performances along the way, as the acts battled to impress the revamped judging panel of Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh.

X Factor devotees will no doubt be keen to see how Misha performs in front of her hometown audience.

"Last year I was busking on the streets of Manchester and now to be touring around the UK is just sensational," the 19-year-old said recently.

LateRooms.com recommends a large number of discount hotels that could appeal to X Factor fans visiting Manchester, including the City Warehouse Apartments.
